Our "Curious beavers" (1994)...

Our "Curious jerboas", "Curious birds", "Curious beavers" (1994)

The sets "Curious jerboas", "Curious birds" and "Curious beavers".
A characteristic feature of the design of all the kits was that the characters (animals and birds) as if they were sitting on knitted tops and trying to pull the edge of the neckline with their paws and look inside, as if to be curious about what is there, in the depths of the neckline. A dozen and a half sets were made, all of them were shown at our shows in Moscow in 1995 and sold at the same year. Photos of the kits have been published by me on the Internet since 1998.
In 2016, several fans of our knitwear wrote to me at once that a dress suspiciously similar to our "birds"appeared in the new Gucci's collection. The Gucci birds, however, did not look into the neckline and did not cling to the dress with their paws (in the Gucci version, the bird's paws simply hung in the air), but I do not think that these differences are fundamental. I am sure that Mr. Alessandro Michele (the top designer of Gucci) stole my idea.
