Alexandra's "Purely Decorative"...

Most of the samples of our knitwear are the fruit of joint creativity. Basically, my contribution to the creation of the next sample was in the design idea and embroidery. And Alexandra "supervised" knitting, laces and the creation of decor (which often included the knitted fastener she invented). And it is unequivocal that our most successful and creatively significant samples necessarily included the contribution of both of us - both artistic embroidery of mine and Alexandra's decor and lace:

However, sometimes it happened when Alexandra did not take part in the creation of the next sample and the design of the sweater or dress was formed only by my embroidery:

A lot more dresses and sweaters were created only by Alexandra, without my participation. More precisely, I made a sketch and my contribution to the new thing was limited to this, and Alexandra brought it to life without my "intervention", often significantly changing the idea and design:

We called such knits "purely decorative" (implying that there were no embroidered characters on the samples - people, animals, insects, but only decor). How many of them were made by Alexandra in thirty years is unknown. Not all things were photographed…

Et cetera...
